Replaced a bay window that was damaged in a fire. Excellent service from start to finish. The old window was only two years old but we actually like the new ones better. Would recommend to anybody.

Clean, quick, tidy work with special mention to Stuart for starting at 7:30am on Saturday so the job could be finished before we had to leave the house.

Matthew was amazing. He came out to design and quote, he listened and allowed me everything I asked for.

These guys are first rate. From first contact through to quotation and then installation everyone was professional and friendly. They replaced all our soffits, fascias and guttering plus a dozen windows and the front door. Everything is fantastic. We could not be more pleased and could not recommend WTW any more highly. We came to know about Wakefield Trade Windows, when the windows and doors in a neighbouring house were replaced. After gathering some details from our neighbour about their UPVC windows and composite doors we visited the showroom on Smyth street.

It was a big project involving the replacement of all our wooden windows, two doors as well as cladding of the boards and soffits along with the replacement of the roof gutters and down pipes which required scaffolding.

During our initial consultation at the show room and the subsequent visit to our house, Matthew was extremely helpful, explained everything and answered all our (many) questions. He gave us invaluable advice and guidance.

When Peter came for the comprehensive survey, he explained the minute details and we felt confident and happy that we made the right choice. Some of the things were custom made for our needs which we would not have got from any other firm.

The fitting team led by Martin was very professional, well-mannered and efficient. They were friendly and approachable, communicated well and minor problems were easily resolved. Their flexibility and dedication are a big asset that the firm can be proud of. They have done a wonderful job.

James and his team from Swift Access Scaffolding (engaged by Peter) were very efficient and ensured that no damage was caused while erecting and dismantling of the scaffolding.

The quality of the frames and doors are excellent. We are very pleased with the work and are happy to recommend this company to anybody needing similar work.

Genuinely cannot rate the level of service and quality of product and workmanship highly enough. This is the second time we have used Wakefield Trade Windows and they have exceeded our expectations again. This time we replaced a double garage door with bi folds and replaced front and back doors with new composite doors. I'm very pleased with the finished work, as well as how this was carried out.

Having had a trusted recommendation to Wakefield Trade Windows, we felt confident to go directly with them, avoiding other quotations. Matthew was our first point of contact and was extremely helpful & not only listened to what we wanted but used his knowledge & experience to offer useful advice & guidance. There followed a comprehensive survey by Peter & Matthew where everything was fully explained to us. This was a big project for us with barge boards & soffits, windows, composite door & replacing our old wooden conservatory with a new pvc & Equinox (solid roof) with bi-folding doors, in total 3 weeks work. May Bank Holiday Monday, the team consisting of Martin, Stuart & Andy arrived promptly & commenced work in probably the worst weather we’d had in a month! Over the next 3 weeks, these lads worked tirelessly fitting the work schedule around the weather & always kept us updated with their plans & progress, tidying up at the end of each working day. These lads were a pleasure to have working in our home, they were always extremely polite and our needs were always foremost in their actions. Whenever we felt there was a slight ‘problem’, they were always very approachable & in fact they were generally aware of the ‘problem’ and already had a plan to resolve it and, in fact, they encouraged us to let them know if we had any issues at all. All in all, the work was completed on schedule and had been conducted in a steady & meticulous fashion and clearly the team took extreme pride in their own work. Despite the weather & hard work, they were always good natured, laughing & jovial and was a pleasure to be amongst them. The final result was worth every penny & we are delighted with the end result, in particular our new Equinox roof & conservatory - fantastic! Could not praise this company & their team highly enough.

Just had two windows fitted from Wakefield Trade Windows and I would like to say what wonderful service from first enquiry to fitting which was completed today.
The two fitters were lovely. They were prompt, polite and knowledgeable about their craft. They worked non stop to get the job completed.
The installation went without any problems and the windows look wonderful.

They might not be the cheapest but I doubt if the quality and service could be beaten. Faced with 7 large sash windows , some of them nearly 200 years old and in atrocious weather, the team overcame every problem thrown at them with cheerfulness and fortitude. There was no problem that they could not overcome Every night the house was left neat tidy and secure. When drinking tea and coffee they hardly stopped. Even my wife was delighted with the job.

Margaret and I would like to take this opportunity to say how pleased we are with the finished result, which is every bit as good as we hoped it would be. We thank you for the help you gave us in settling on the final design and colour scheme-everybody passing has commented how good it looks.

Most of all, however, we would like to pass on our thanks to Martin, Vinny and Josh for the high quality of there workmanship, for the care they took over the whole project, and especially for their great attention to detail. Their enthusiasm and commitment never wavered, despite all the adverse weather we experienced-it was a pleasure to have them working here.

"I can honestly say without doubt, I've never dealt with a more professional and courteous company in my life. From the initial sales visit to the workmen leaving, I experienced nothing short of a service fit for the queen. From our initial consultation we knew that they would get the job, they explained everything and answered all of my questions with a deep knowledgeable answer. We were given the option of visiting the workshop where the windows are made and again we left completely sure we had made the right choice. The fitting team were exemplary employees who were very well mannered, craftsman in their approach and took great care with each and every window, often going beyond the job spec to ensure there were no doubts in our mind. They made no damage all all to the property, accommodating our quirky design choices and each room was cleaned post installation so you would have never known they were there! In all we had 14 windows and a front door fitted, all completed in just over 4 days. I would like to express my appreciation for the excellent service you gave me with the manufacturing and installing of a new door.

From my initial telephone call asking for a price and delivery, every stage was run perfectly. the visit by Peter to measure up, discuss requirements and quote me a price, all in less than 24 hours from my call. when I then explained the new door was urgent due to us been unable to secure the old one, he returned to his office to rearrange work schedules and improve on the 3 week delivery quoted, then he telephoned me to say it would be installed the following week. Less than 7 days from being given the order.

Your two workmen arrived promptly on the morning quoted and immediately got down to removing the old door, including taking off parts that I requested. Offers of hot drinks were politely refused and in less than 3 hours the new door was installed and working perfectly. These two men are without a doubt a credit to your company, they were very pleasant, clean and tidy and very conscientious, even cleaning up after completion. The quality of the door and installation is excellent.

Having been in the building services industry for nearly 50 years including 25 years running my own Company which employed over 20 tradesmen, I am more than qualified to appreciate the quality of your products and service.

Dear Peter

Dorothy and I have been delighted with the response of your colleagues in the office and the tradesmen who have dealt with our problem with a small window lock and the fitting of the glass in its frame, during the last couple of weeks. we have experienced a rapid response, perfectly timed visits and enthusiastic workmanship in dealing with the problem. Additionally we had the moving parts in our two doors oiled as part of the guarantee and follow up. Please accept our sincere thanks.

I am a volunteer with a body called "which ?" which you may have heard of ! By sheer coincidence, today they sought my response to their current survey about 'Double Glazing' companies.
